Drop in a Fact Find and Meridian builds the first draft of the plan. Change any assumption and the whole thing redraws instantly - no recalculate button, no waiting. A complete UK planning engine and a complete international one, in the same software, chosen per client.
Drag the assumptions. The plan reacts, exactly as it does in a real client meeting.
Currency toggle uses fixed illustrative exchange rates for demonstration only - not live market rates.
"Slow. Static. Dated. Ugly. Every cashflow tool I used had the same flaws, and we all just put up with them. So I built one I'd actually want a client to see."

Drag growth, inflation or a retirement age and the whole fifty-year plan redraws while you are still speaking. No recalculate button, no "let me rerun that and email you". The meeting never stops for the software.

Everything a UK adviser relies on today is in the top block, and the incumbents have it too. The point of the table isn't that they can't do UK planning, it's what sits underneath once a client stops being purely domestic.
✓ built in · ~ partial or limited · – not available. Rows marked Pro are in Meridian Pro; every other row is in both plans. Based on the founder's day-to-day use of Voyant and CashCalc as of July 2026 - both are capable, established UK tools and continue to evolve, so please check each provider for their current offering. Voyant supports several countries as separate regional editions; Meridian models multiple jurisdictions within one plan. Firm-account and data-handling comparisons reflect publicly available information at time of writing, not a hands-on audit of either competitor's back end - please verify directly with them. "Modern, premium client documents" reflects our own view of report design and isn't an independently verified claim.
Standard is $100. Add full UK estate planning with Pro at $150. Voyant is around $220. Unlimited clients and plans on both - and if it does not earn its place in 30 days, one email refunds you in full.
Jurisdiction is not an add-on in Meridian, it is part of the model. When you create a client you choose the engine, and either one can be your default. A UK adviser gets a complete HMRC-rules plan. An international adviser gets the same engine pointed somewhere else. Nobody is using the other market's product.

Choose the engine when you create the client, then start blank or hand it a document. It locks once the plan has data.

A UK plan running the HMRC engine: lifetime tax updating live, marginal rates for both clients, and the funding warning surfaced on the chart.
The same screens your clients see in the meeting - no mockups, no marketing gloss.
PDF, Word, or notes pasted straight from a meeting - Meridian reads it, builds the client's assets, income and outgoings, and shows exactly where every figure came from alongside the source document. What used to take twenty minutes of data entry now takes under a minute, and nothing happens without you seeing it first.

Growth, inflation, retirement age, longevity - drag any of them and the net-worth chart redraws in front of the client. No "let me rerun that", no exporting to a spreadsheet. The conversation never stops.

Duplicate the plan, change what matters - the jurisdiction, a retirement age, a first death - and overlay the new path against the current one. Here, retiring in Dubai leaves the couple US$2.89m ahead by 2074 with US$1.02m less lifetime tax. The client sees both futures at once, in the meeting, without waiting for a follow-up email.

Included at the same price. Ask to see any of them live in a demo.

UK property in sterling, an offshore bond in dollars, a SIPP in dirhams. Each asset is held in its own currency and the whole plan reconciles live, presented in whichever currency the client thinks in.

Apply a 2008 crash, a dot-com unwind, a pandemic shock or a longevity hit at any age, through a global or UK market lens. The age funds run short, and the gap to the base case, made unmissable.

Set a first death at any age and the plan rebuilds around the survivor - their income, spending, pensions and whatever cover pays out. The protection gap stops being a feeling and becomes a number.

Meridian reads the finished plan and writes the answers clients actually ask for: what they can safely spend, when they can retire, how much disappointment the plan absorbs. Figures included, jargon removed.

Every plan exports to a clean, branded cashflow report in today's money - your firm's name, your client's numbers, the assumptions used. One click to print or save as PDF.

Two clients, joint and individual assets, separate retirement ages and marginal rates, and what happens on first death - built into the data model from day one rather than bolted on.
Gifts, trusts and reliefs in plain English. Choose what the client wants to achieve and Meridian applies the clocks, the charges and the rules - live, as you type.

Legacy tools mean training courses and rebuilds, and hours of prep before a meeting that may only need twenty minutes of it. Meridian drops straight into your next review: open the plan, talk, send the report. Even the least technical adviser can pick it up on day one.
Already built. No blank screen, no setup ritual.
Answer "what if?" as you talk - the chart moves with you.
A branded PDF, a few clicks from your client's inbox.
Meridian is licensed to the firm, not the individual. Add colleagues as you grow and everyone works from the same client list - no separate logins, no re-keying a plan because a colleague built it under their own account.
Invite a colleague and billing adjusts automatically, prorated for the period. Every plan created, renamed or edited is logged against the person who did it - a record no one in your firm, including admins, can edit or delete. It's the same question a file review asks, answered before anyone has to.

Search every plan in the firm by asset, note, goal or client detail - "business sale", "crypto", whatever you need - and duplicate a matching plan straight into a new client. Nobody rebuilds a structure from scratch because a colleague already has, and nobody needs to log into someone else's account to find a client's numbers on the way to a meeting.

Meridian began as the tool a practising IFA built for their own client meetings, after getting tired of the alternatives. Other advisers saw it on screen and asked to use it, so it became a product. That is not a marketing line: it is the reason the software behaves the way it does, and it is who answers when you get in touch.
We get on a call and set your firm up together - your branding, your settings, and your first plan built while you watch. You are not handed a login link and pointed at a help centre.
When you ask how to model a complex pension, an offshore bond or a cross-border retirement, the reply comes from someone who writes advice for a living and has modelled it before. Not a first-line script.
No account manager, no ticket number. If something is wrong, it gets fixed - often the same week. If something is missing, you are talking to the person who decides what gets built next.
Setup and support are part of the price. There is no implementation fee, no professional services line, and no premium support tier holding the useful help behind it. Structured training material is in build and lands at no extra cost.
Meridian is a small, focused product rather than a large vendor, and that is deliberate. You get direct access to the person who built it, instead of a support tier standing between you and an answer.
A figure you show a client and can't defend is a liability. So the calculations in Meridian are checked against independent sources before they ever reach a plan.
We don't claim Meridian's engine is "more accurate" than any competitor's - we haven't tested theirs, and no responsible vendor would. What we can say is that it was built from day one with a rigorous, modern testing discipline that's uncommon in this space.
Encrypted in transit and at rest, with every firm's data isolated at the database level and stored in the UK (London). Every seat is protected by mandatory authenticator-app MFA. Uploaded documents are processed in memory and never stored, client data is never used to train AI models, and firms can delete their data on request.

Pro is a firm licence: every seat in a firm is on the same plan, so any adviser can pick up any client's estate planning.
Meridian ships constantly. This is what is in build next.
These are in build, not shipped, and we would rather show you what works today than sell you what does not exist yet. Client data never leaves for model training, in AI intake or anywhere else in Meridian, and that does not change as we build.
Yes. The UK engine covers income tax and NI, dividends, pensions and the annual allowance, PCLS, ISAs, capital gains tax, onshore and offshore bonds, and inheritance tax, with HMRC rates held for the current tax year and visible in the plan. Meridian Pro adds the full estate planning toolkit Voyant users rely on: gifts, trusts, DGTs, loan trusts and reliefs. If you would like to check it against a case you already know, bring a live client scenario to a demo and we will build it in front of you.
The AI does one job: it reads a Fact Find, CFR or set of meeting notes and turns it into a first draft of the plan, showing you where every figure came from and flagging anything ambiguous before it creates a thing. It does not give advice, it does not choose assumptions for you, and nothing is saved until you have reviewed and confirmed it. The source document is processed in memory and never stored. Client data is never used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's, and that is a contractual commitment in the Data Processing Agreement rather than a promise on a marketing page. Every calculation behind the chart is the same deterministic engine either way - the AI does the typing, not the maths.
Minutes, not an afternoon. Meridian is built to be filled in during a meeting rather than prepared before one: enter the people, the assets and the spending, and the chart is already live as you type. Most advisers run their first real plan the same day they sign up.
None is required - no course, no certification, no rebuild of your process. The interface is deliberately built so an adviser who has never seen it can open a plan and talk through it. We will still get on a call and set your firm up with you, including your branding and your first plan, and you can ask us modelling questions whenever you get stuck. Structured training material and video walkthroughs are in build and will be included when they land. What we will not pretend to have today is a dedicated support department - you are dealing directly with the adviser who built it, in working hours.
Standard is the complete live cashflow platform: the UK and international engines, AI plan building, couples and survivorship, stress testing, reports and firm accounts, with an inheritance tax estimate on every UK plan. Pro adds complete UK estate planning on top - gifts and the 7-year clock, discretionary trusts, discounted gift trusts, loan trusts, business and agricultural relief, EIS and VCT, pensions in the estate from April 2027, and estate planning read straight from a Fact Find. See everything in Pro.
Priced per adviser seat, and set for the whole firm. Every seat in a firm is on the same plan, so any adviser can open any client and pick up their estate planning where a colleague left it. A firm on Standard can move to Pro from inside the app in one click, and anyone it invites afterwards joins on Pro.
Not automatically yet, and we would rather say so plainly than promise it. In practice advisers rebuild their live cases as they come up for review, which takes a few minutes each. Bulk import is on the roadmap, and if you are moving a whole book across we will help you do it.
Every figure on screen traces back to an assumption you can see and change, with no hidden black box, and the exported report carries your firm's name, the client's numbers and the assumptions used. The report is a cashflow illustration to support your advice, not a suitability report, and the advice remains yours.
You do. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per firm at the database level, and stored in the UK (London). Every seat is protected by mandatory authenticator-app MFA. It is never used to train AI or for anything other than the plan you build. If you leave, you can export your reports and ask us to delete everything, and we will.
A fair question to ask any small software provider. Client data is backed up daily on a rolling seven-day retention window, and every plan exports to a self-contained PDF you keep, so nothing you have shown a client is ever locked inside the platform. Firm-level continuity commitments, including source code escrow, are available as part of an enterprise agreement.
Everything in your plan. One price per adviser, unlimited clients and plans, every feature on this page for your plan, and the setup call. No per-module upsells, no add-ons, no enterprise sales call to unlock the useful parts. If it does not earn its place in the first 30 days, one email refunds you in full.
A 30-minute demo with your own client scenario. No slides - just the software.
