NewAI-assisted intake - a plan built from a Fact Find in under a minute Built by an adviser, for advisers

Cashflow planning, modelled live
across every currency and jurisdiction.

Meridian recalculates the entire plan the moment you change an assumption, and builds the first draft for you from a Fact Find. A complete UK planning engine, a complete international one, and everything a cross-border household actually holds. Built in, not bolted on.

One platform, two engines

UK planning and international planning.
Same software.

Jurisdiction is not an add-on in Meridian, it is part of the model. When you create a client you choose the engine, and either one can be your default. A UK adviser gets a complete HMRC-rules plan. An international adviser gets the same engine pointed somewhere else. Nobody is using the other market's product.

United Kingdom
  • Income tax, NI and dividends
  • Pensions, annual allowance and PCLS
  • ISAs and capital gains tax
  • Onshore and offshore bonds
  • Inheritance tax and estate
International
  • UAE, GCC and expat clients
  • Multiple jurisdictions in one plan
  • Native multi-currency assets
  • Offshore bonds and cross-border income
  • Tax off by default, or entered by hand

A UK plan running the HMRC engine: lifetime tax updating live, marginal rates for both clients, and the funding warning surfaced on the chart.

The product

Everything an adviser needs.
Nothing they don't.

The same screens your clients see in the meeting - no mockups, no marketing gloss.

01 - AI intake

Drop in a Fact Find.
Watch the plan build itself.

PDF, Word, or notes pasted straight from a meeting - Meridian reads it, builds the client's assets, income and outgoings, and shows exactly where every figure came from alongside the source document. What used to take twenty minutes of data entry now takes under a minute, and nothing happens without you seeing it first.

app.meridiancashflow.com/intake
Meridian reading the uploaded documentMeridian working out what needs the adviser's attentionMeridian checking the currencies in the documentAI intake review screen: a fact find document alongside the assumptions Meridian flagged for the adviser to confirm
  • Reads Fact Finds, CFRs and meeting notes - PDF or Word
  • Flags what's ambiguous or missing, in plain language, before anything is created
  • Source document processed in memory and never stored
02 - Live what-if

Change an assumption.
Watch the whole plan respond.

Growth, inflation, retirement age, longevity - drag any of them and the net-worth chart redraws in front of the client. No "let me rerun that", no exporting to a spreadsheet. The conversation never stops.

app.meridiancashflow.com/plan
Live what-if sliders above the net worth chart, with retirement and first-death markers
  • Instant recalculation across the full 50-year horizon
  • Retirement and first-death markers move with the plan
  • Spendable-assets line shows exactly when money runs short
03 - Multi-currency

One household.
Every currency it actually holds.

UK property in sterling, an offshore bond in dollars, a SIPP in dirhams. Meridian holds each asset in its own currency and reconciles the whole plan live, so cross-border clients finally see a single, honest picture in whichever currency they think in.

  • Per-asset native currency, converted in real time
  • Present everything in the client's chosen display currency
  • FX built into the model, not patched on afterwards
Assets held in GBP, USD and AED side by side in one plan
04 - Scenarios, side by side

Retire in the UK, or Dubai?
Show both on one chart.

Duplicate the plan, change what matters - the jurisdiction, a retirement age, a first death - and overlay the new path against the current one. Here, retiring in Dubai leaves the couple US$2.89m ahead by 2074 with US$1.02m less lifetime tax. The client sees both futures at once, in the meeting, without waiting for a follow-up email.

Scenario comparison: retiring in the UK versus Dubai overlaid on one live chart
  • Compare any two scenarios on a single live chart
  • Lifetime tax and the net-worth gap surfaced automatically
  • First death and survivorship on the very same view
05 - Stress testing

Stress-test the plan
before the market does.

Apply a 2008 crash, a dot-com style unwind, a 2020 pandemic shock or a longevity hit, at any age you choose, through a global or UK market lens. Here a pandemic shock landing at retirement turns a fully funded plan into one that runs short at 88, with the dashed line holding the base case alongside it.

app.meridiancashflow.com/plan
Pandemic shock applied at retirement: funds run short at age 88 against a fully funded base case
  • Historic and custom shocks, applied now, at retirement or from any age
  • Global or UK market lens, with the exact return sequence shown
  • The age funds run short, and the gap to base, made unmissable
Plug and play

The most advanced plan in the room -
and the easiest one to run.

Legacy tools mean training courses and rebuilds, and hours of prep before a meeting that may only need twenty minutes of it. Meridian drops straight into your next review: open the plan, talk, send the report. Even the least technical adviser can pick it up on day one.

I've never seen my own money laid out like that in twenty years of meetings.

06 - Protection and survivorship

Model the death
nobody wants to talk about.

Set a first death at any age and the plan rebuilds around the survivor: their income, their spending, their pensions, and whatever cover pays out. Here, an early death leaves the survivor's plan running short at 71 against a plan that was funded for life, and the existing cover closes almost none of the gap. That is a protection conversation clients understand immediately.

Survivor plan after an early death: funds run short at 71, with the life cover payout and the original plan shown for comparison
  • Survivor income, spending and pensions follow their own rules
  • Existing cover modelled inside the cashflow, not beside it
  • The shortfall quantified, so the protection gap is a number
07 - Talking points

The questions clients ask,
answered before they ask them.

Meridian reads the finished plan and writes the answers in plain language: what they can safely spend, when they can afford to retire, how much market disappointment the plan absorbs, whether there is room for a one-off purchase. Numbers included, jargon removed. Open it in the meeting and the conversation almost runs itself.

  • Generated from a full lifetime simulation, not a rule of thumb
  • Every answer carries the actual figure behind it
  • Written so the client understands it without translation
Talking Points panel answering common client questions with figures from the plan
08 - Client report

Hand your client
something they'll keep.

Every plan exports to a clean, branded cashflow report - your firm's name, the client's numbers, in today's money. The polish of the app carries straight through to the PDF that lands in their inbox.

  • Your firm and adviser details on every page
  • Print or save to PDF in one click

Built for firms

One account, however many seats.
One client book, not several.

Meridian is licensed to the firm, not the individual. Add colleagues as you grow and everyone works from the same client list - no separate logins, no re-keying a plan because a colleague built it under their own account.

Every adviser signed in.
Nothing done in the dark.

Invite a colleague and billing adjusts automatically, prorated for the period. Every plan created, renamed or edited is logged against the person who did it - a record nobody, including admins, can edit or delete. It's the same question a file review asks, answered before anyone has to.

app.meridiancashflow.com/firm
Firm page showing seats in use, team members and roles, and a full audit trail of every change
  • Add a seat in seconds - billing adjusts automatically, prorated
  • Admin and member roles, with seats removable at any time
  • A full audit trail - who changed what, and when, on every plan
Shared plan library

Find anything.
Duplicate it in one click.

Search every plan in the firm by asset, note, goal or client detail - "business sale", "crypto", whatever you need - and duplicate a matching plan straight into a new client. Nobody rebuilds a structure from scratch because a colleague already has, and nobody needs to log into someone else's account to find a client's numbers on the way to a meeting.

  • Searches asset names, notes, goals and adviser notes firm-wide
  • Duplicate any plan into a fresh client instantly
  • No shared logins, no hunting through colleagues' accounts
Search inside plans: finding a client by searching for business sale across every plan in the firm
Capabilities

The whole model,
the way advisers think.

Live reactivity

Every input recalculates the entire plan instantly. Model out loud, in the meeting, with nothing hidden behind a "recalculate" button.

Multi-currency, native

Assets and income held in their real currencies and converted live - the honest picture for cross-border households.

Tax by jurisdiction

Model where the client actually lives and retires, with UK and international tax treatment handled inside the plan.

Couples & survivorship

Two people, joint and individual assets, retirement ages, and what happens on first death - modelled from day one.

Stress & confidence

One-click shocks and Monte-Carlo confidence show how a plan holds up when the market, or life, doesn't cooperate.

Adviser-simple

Powerful underneath, effortless on the surface. New plans in minutes - the model built by an adviser who was tired of the alternatives.

AI-assisted intake

Drop in a Fact Find, CFR or meeting notes and Meridian builds the plan, flagging what needs your eye before anything is created.

One account, many seats

Licensed to the firm, not the individual. Every adviser shares the same client book, priced per seat as you grow.

Full audit trail

Every plan created, renamed or edited is logged against the person who did it - a record nobody can quietly edit away.

How it's built

Engineered for confidence,
not launched and hoped for.

A figure you show a client and can't defend is a liability. So every calculation in Meridian is checked against an independent source of truth before it ever reaches a plan.

  • Tens of thousands of randomised scenarios, stress-tested automatically on every change
  • Independent, hand-calculated benchmark scenarios
  • Estate & IHT verification, matched to the penny
  • Mortgage amortisation and drawdown checks
  • Monte-Carlo, edge-case and multi-decade simulations
  • Cross-scenario consistency checks
  • Adversarial AI review and challenge testing

We don't claim Meridian's engine is "more accurate" than any competitor's - we haven't tested theirs, and no responsible vendor would. What we can say is that it was built from day one with a rigorous, modern testing discipline that's uncommon in this space.

Your data

Client financial data, handled like it matters.

Encrypted in transit and at rest, with every firm's data isolated at the database level and hosted in the EU (AWS eu-west-1). We never use client data to train AI or for anything other than the plan the adviser builds - and firms can delete it on request.

Read the full security overview →
On the roadmap
Guided migrationA low-friction way to bring existing clients in from another tool, without a full re-key.
Richer client viewThe client-facing share link gains the same projection bands and markers you see as the adviser.
Firm compliance reportingA firm-level export of plan health and activity, built for file review.

These are in build, not shipped, and we would rather show you what works today than sell you what does not exist yet. Client data never leaves for model training, in AI intake or anywhere else in Meridian, and that does not change as we build.

How Meridian compares

The structural things
legacy tools bolt on later.

Meridian was built international-first and live-first. The differences aren't cosmetic - they're in the foundations.

Everything a UK adviser relies on today is in the top block, and the incumbents have it too. The point of the table isn't that they can't do UK planning, it's what sits underneath once a client stops being purely domestic.

✓ built in  ·  ~ partial or limited  ·  – not available. Based on the founder's day-to-day use of Voyant and CashCalc as of July 2026 - both are capable, established UK tools and continue to evolve, so please check each provider for their current offering. Voyant supports several countries as separate regional editions; Meridian models multiple jurisdictions within one plan. Firm-account and data-handling comparisons reflect publicly available information at time of writing, not a hands-on audit of either competitor's back end - please verify directly with them. "Modern, premium client documents" reflects our own view of report design and isn't an independently verified claim.

"I had a couple who couldn't decide between retiring in Surrey or Dubai. Two lives, two tax systems, one decision. I built two separate spreadsheets and emailed them a PDF a week later, when what they needed was to see both futures side by side, in the room, while they were still arguing about it."

Questions

The things advisers ask first.

Can Meridian replace Voyant or CashCalc for my UK clients?

Yes. The UK engine covers income tax and NI, dividends, pensions and the annual allowance, PCLS, ISAs, capital gains tax, onshore and offshore bonds, and inheritance tax, with HMRC rates held for the current tax year and visible in the plan. If you would like to check it against a case you already know, bring a live client scenario to a demo and we will build it in front of you.

How long does my first plan take to build?

Minutes, not an afternoon. Meridian is built to be filled in during a meeting rather than prepared before one: enter the people, the assets and the spending, and the chart is already live as you type. Most advisers run their first real plan the same day they sign up.

Is there any training or onboarding needed?

No course, no certification, no rebuild of your process. The interface is deliberately built so an adviser who has never seen it can open a plan and talk through it. If you would like a walkthrough anyway, a 30-minute demo covers everything, and we will help you set up your first few clients.

Can I import my existing clients?

Not automatically yet, and we would rather say so plainly than promise it. In practice advisers rebuild their live cases as they come up for review, which takes a few minutes each. Bulk import is on the roadmap, and if you are moving a whole book across we will help you do it.

Is the output suitable to sit behind advice?

Every figure on screen traces back to an assumption you can see and change, with no hidden black box, and the exported report carries your firm's name, the client's numbers and the assumptions used. The report is a cashflow illustration to support your advice, not a suitability report, and the advice remains yours.

Who owns the client data, and what happens if I leave?

You do. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per firm at the database level, and hosted in the EU. It is never used to train AI or for anything other than the plan you build. If you leave, you can export your reports and ask us to delete everything, and we will.

What happens to my plans if something happens to you?

A fair question to ask any small software provider. Client data is backed up continuously and every plan exports to a self-contained PDF you keep, so nothing you have shown a client is ever locked inside the platform. Firm-level continuity commitments, including source code escrow, are available as part of an enterprise agreement.

What does the price actually include?

All of it. One price per adviser, unlimited clients and plans, every feature on this page, and every feature we ship next. No tiers, no per-module upsells, no enterprise sales call to unlock the useful parts. If it does not earn its place in the first 30 days, one email refunds you in full.
